Hospitality & Entrepreneurship Intern
La Maison du Domaine Lombard | Livron-sur-Drôme, Rhône Valley, France
Help launch a new hospitality venue on a French wine estate. Discover how a place comes to life, from the guest experience to the everyday details that make it work.
About La Maison du Domaine LombardLa Maison du Domaine Lombard is a hospitality venue in the heart of the Brézème vineyards, a discreet terroir in the Northern Rhône Valley, between the Vercors and Ardèche. Overlooking the valley, surrounded by vines, a wooded park and open views, the Maison offers a bright, natural and inspiring setting designed for people to slow down, reconnect and share experiences.
Available for full or partial private hire, the Maison welcomes corporate events and retreats, private group stays and celebrations, including weddings. The property combines flexible reception spaces, landscaped grounds and terraces, with 16 rooms and suites to extend the experience on site.
We are in our operational launch phase, building a small, committed and versatile team to establish the Maison as a distinctive hospitality destination. Joining us means contributing to the standards, practical procedures, guest experiences and local partnerships that will shape the venue.
Our team is small, energetic and collaborative. We value initiative, attention to detail and a willingness to help one another, combining high standards with a warm, down-to-earth atmosphere. This opportunity will suit someone who wants to understand how an independent hospitality business is built, not simply observe one department.

- or Master’s-level hospitality programme to join us as a Hospitality & Entrepreneurship Intern. The placement is particularly suited to students seeking an international experience and professional immersion in France. Working alongside the team, with an identified internship supervisor, you will gain hands-on exposure to guest relations, daily coordination, group stays, events and launch projects. Your responsibilities will be adapted to your level of study and the learning objectives agreed with your school. Your role and responsibilities

help prepare stays, welcome guests and follow up on their needs; contribute to thoughtful, personalised service and clear guest information.
• Daily coordination: support communication with the team and external service providers, help prepare guest spaces and learn how the different activities of the Maison fit together.
• Stays and events: assist with the preparation and delivery of corporate retreats, group stays and private celebrations, including room layouts, meeting breaks and practical coordination.
• Wine and local experiences: help coordinate tastings and activities with the estate’s team and local partners, connecting guests with the wine estate and its surrounding area.
• Launch tools and procedures: help develop welcome materials, operational checklists, planning tools and follow-up processes; use Microsoft 365 and learn the relevant PMS and CRM functions.
• Continuous improvement: observe how the venue operates, identify practical improvements and discuss proposals with your supervisor.
• A defined project: contribute to an agreed initiative, such as designing a guest welcome journey, creating a local experience guide or improving a stay-planning tool. This is a supervised learning placement, not a position with sole responsibility for running the venue. The scope of your assignments will be defined with your supervisor and school, and reviewed as you develop your skills.
