Requirements Ideal candidates for this Chief Medical Officer role will possess significant expertise in both emergency and primary healthcare settings, combined with demonstrated leadership experience in managing medical teams.
• Proven track record in emergency medicine leadership, with the ability to assess and provide immediate treatment of urgent health conditions effectively.
• Comprehensive experience in primary healthcare provision, offering compassionate and standards-based patient consultations aligned with international protocols such as those from International SOS.
• In-depth knowledge of internationally recognized medical and scientific evidence-based guidelines to ensure clinical excellence and up-to-date practice standards.
• Strong skills in business and medical writing, with the capacity to produce detailed reports and contribute to clinical documentation and quality assurance processes.
• Competence in basic computer applications critical for patient management systems and clinical documentation.
• Valid certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Current certification in trauma life support, such as ITLS, ATLS, or PHTLS, validating readiness for emergency scenarios.
• Active registration as a medical practitioner with the relevant Health Professional Council, adhering strictly to the regulatory frameworks of the practitioner's country of origin.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of patient safety and customer service excellence throughout clinical teams.
• Effective communicator and collaborator adept at working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to drive clinical service enhancements and strategic healthcare initiatives.
