Director of Capital Projects and Asset Management

As part of our international development, we are looking for our future Director of Capital Projects and Asset Management. You will lead our construction, renovation and development projects worldwide, as well as the long-term performance of our assets. As the technical authority for Magnicity’s built assets, you will turn approved concepts into successful projects delivered in compliance with Group standards, budgets, timelines and operational requirements. Reporting to the Group Director of Operations, Products and Services, you will be based in Paris and travel regularly worldwide. Your

responsibilities:
You will lead construction, renovation and fit-out projects from feasibility studies through to delivery, ensuring safety, quality, budgets and timelines. You will bring project teams together and coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and partners. You will conduct feasibility studies and technical due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships and expansion projects, identifying and mitigating risks. You will define the investment roadmap, major maintenance programmes and asset lifecycle strategies to preserve their value and performance. You will prepare budgets and business cases, oversee procurement and contracts, and ensure compliance with Group governance. You will report to senior leadership on project progress, investment performance, risks and the decisions required. Working closely with the Product, Operations and Customer Experience teams, you will ensure the seamless integration of projects and their efficient transition into operations. You will ensure that every technical solution supports our visitor experience, operational efficiency and the long-term performance of our assets. You will represent Magnicity in dealings with authorities, landlords, partners and investors. Profile and

skills:
You have at least seven years of experience in construction management, client-side project management, property development, capital project management or asset management. You have led complex construction, renovation or fit-out projects; experience with investments exceeding €10 million would be particularly valued. Experience in hospitality, leisure, retail, airports, mixed-use property or investment would be a real asset. You are proficient in project portfolio management, budgets, contracts, risk management and the coordination of external partners. A collaborative, results-oriented leader, you know how to align multiple stakeholders and turn strategic ambition into tangible outcomes. Rigor, pragmatism, diplomacy, assertiveness and a strong sense of responsibility enable you to make effective decisions in complex environments. You are proficient in business English. Proficiency in French or any other language would be an asset.
