• Internship subject: Test and simulation EZMove Tools
• Compensation: 1200€ gross, tickets restaurant, CSE Internship Context EZMove is in charge of the embedded software part that ensures communication and safety between vehicle and EasyMile environment. The goal of this internship is to create or update EZMove testing tools to increase test capabilities on vehicles and CI. Develop new functions with Python to enhance our internal simulation and testing tools. The main developments will include:
• Flexibility & Configuration: Removing hardcoded dependencies by allowing the dynamic loading of specific configuration files (dbf, dbc, …) to ensure proper communication with the platform.
• Automated Test Scenarios: Implementing a sequence-playback feature that reads and transmits predefined CAN commands. This will ensure consistency and repeatability for test cases.
• Fault Injection & Safety Testing: Adding features to generate unexpected/wrong payloads on specific frames to test the system’s safety monitoring and error handling capabilities.
• Monitoring & Interface: Upgrading the tools to support the storage of multiple CAN buses, display signals in real-time (live mode), and ensure compatibility with system updates.
• Continuous Integration (CI): Creating a batch mode to seamlessly integrate these testing tools into our CI pipeline. Missions / Responsibilities Under the supervision of the tutor, the intern will be involved in:
