Sap Finance Control Consultant

Equal Plus Consulting has been engaged to search for an SAP FICO Consultant with strong Finance expertise and a specialization in Banking, Treasury, Payments, and Cash Management to work hybrid for a client based in Paris, France. Title: SAP FICO
- Banking/Treasury Start Date: ASAP Term: 6-12 months (TBD) Location – ideally Paris La Defense, but we can be flexible for the right candidate. Local candidates to Paris, must work on-site hybrid No agencies or third parties RTR WITH BANKING & TREASURY FOCUS Position Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong Finance expertise and a specialization in Banking, Treasury, Payments, and Cash Management. The consultant will support both project delivery and production support within a global SAP environment. The role requires a solid understanding of core FICO processes, ideally combined with hands-on experience in banking integrations, payment processes, cash management and treasury solutions. The successful candidate must be capable of working independently, interacting directly with business stakeholders, and driving solution design from requirements gathering through deployment and hyper care.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide functional support for SAP FICO and Treasury processes.
• Gather requirements, design solutions, configure SAP, and support testing
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders.
• Support global SAP deployments, enhancements, and transformations.
• Ensure compliance with audit and internal control requirements. Required Experience
• Minimum 7 years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Strong experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid knowledge of:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR) o Asset Accounting (AA)
• Controlling (CO)
• FSCM (Credit management, collections, dispute)
• Experience with Banking and Treasury processes (one or several of the below sub-areas): o Treasury & Risk Management (TRM), Cash Management
• Bank Account Management / ISO 20022 / SWIFT payment processes o Cloud for cash application
• Bank Communication Management (BCM)
• Advanced Payment Management (APM) & In-House Bank (IHB)
• Experience delivering international SAP projects.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and test documentation.
• Experience working in global delivery organizations. Soft Skills
