About Chain of Events
We build the events where the people shaping technology actually meet. Chain of Events runs three of them, all in Paris, all within the same week.
• MACHINA Summit is Europe's leading event dedicated to Physical AI — intelligence that acts on the real world through humanoids, industrial robotics, autonomous systems and next-generation human–machine interfaces. Its inaugural 2026 edition brought together the labs building humanoids and the enterprises deploying robotics at scale, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA, 1X, Apptronik and Agility Robotics. It is the fastest-moving brand in the portfolio and the one with the most white space ahead of it.
• RAISE Summit is the AI summit for decision-makers. Launched in 2024, it has grown from 2,000 to 9,000+ attendees across three editions — over 80% of them C-level, from 76 countries — with 350+ speakers spanning AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption, agentic systems, sovereignty and policy. The 2026 edition at the Carrousel du Louvre featured Mark Cuban, Yann LeCun and Nelson Griggs (Nasdaq). The week extends well beyond the main stage: the Versailles AI Gala at the Orangerie of the Château de Versailles, the RAISE Hackathon, and RAISE the STAKES, the startup competition that drew 1,100+ applications in 2026.
• Alongside them, Signal Week is the institutional summit for digital assets. Founded in 2019 as Paris Blockchain Week and elevated to Signal Week in 2026, it draws 10,000+ attendees from 100+ countries, with roughly 70% holding C-suite positions. Its last edition convened 250+ banks and financial institutions, over $50T in assets under management, and 70 government officials and regulators — BlackRock, J.
P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Citi, the London Stock Exchange, ESMA and the European Commission among them. The thesis is that TradFi and digital assets are no longer two industries but one financial system being rebuilt on shared rails. In July 2026, all three were acquired by Hyve Group, the global B2B events organiser behind Fintech Meetup, HLTH and Shoptalk. In 2027 they converge on the Palais des Congrès in the same week.
About the role
We are looking for a Conference Manager who has knowledge / expertise of the Robotics and Physical AI industry and wants to help build the intellectual architecture of Europe’s most ambitious AI summit. This is not a support role. You will be expected to have opinions on topics, identify the right voices, and help shape conversations that matter. You will work closely with the Co-founders and the Head of Content on the full editorial cycle — from early-stage programme conception through to live event delivery. You report to the Head of Content, and collaborate with the Marketing, Sales and Customer success teams across the CoE organisation. What you will do Programme Strategy & Editorial Conception
• Contribute to the editorial vision of the MACHINA programme: identifying key themes, open questions, and narrative arcs that will resonate with a senior AI audience.
• Research and map the AI landscape — foundation models, enterprise adoption, regulation, investment trends — to surface compelling, timely topics and underexplored angles.
• Propose and structure sessions, panels, and formats that generate real intellectual value, not just brand visibility. Speaker Research & Outreach
• Build and maintain target lists of high-calibre speakers: AI researchers, enterprise leaders, policymakers, founders, and investors.
• Write and send personalised outreach to prospective speakers; own the follow-up relationship through to confirmation.
• Brief confirmed speakers ahead of their sessions to ensure alignment with the programme’s editorial intent. Content Production & Coordination
• Draft session descriptions, and programme copy that reflect the tone and ambition of MACHINA.
• Coordinate with Marketing to ensure speakers and sessions are represented accurately and compellingly in external communications.
• Work with the Sales team to integrate sponsored speaking slots while preserving editorial integrity. On-site Event Delivery
• Provide on-site support to speakers: briefings, backstage coordination, and smooth panel delivery.
• Assist in orchestrating the live agenda and managing last-minute changes with composure. Required Skills & Experience Required
• Native or full professional fluency in English (French is a plus; other languages welcome).
• Genuine, demonstrable interest / expertise in Future of Robotics and Embodied AI: you follow the field, have opinions, and can hold a substantive conversation about it.
• Strong research and analytical writing skills — you can synthesise complex topics and communicate them clearly and precisely.
• Confident in interacting with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and prominent researchers.
• Structured, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with some ambiguity. Ideal Profile
• Previous experience in editorial, content strategy, journalism, or events.
• Familiarity with the Robotics and Physical AI ecosystem: key players, funding dynamics, enterprise deployment patterns, policy debates.
• Ability to think editorially — not just ‘who should we invite?’ but ‘what conversation do we want to create?’
• A natural ability to build relationships with people who are busy and selective about their time.
What we offer
• Real editorial ownership — not just support tasks. Your research and outreach will directly shape the MACHINA programme.
• Access to 7,000+ of the world’s most influential AI leaders, founders, and researchers.
• A fast-paced, multicultural, and entrepreneurial environment where initiative is expected, not just encouraged.
• Direct mentorship from senior content and editorial professionals.
• An experience that matters: the programme you help build will shape conversations at the highest levels of the global AI industry.
• Full access to a premium AI toolset, with the budget to keep adding to it.
• Lunch vouchers and 100% imagin'R reimbursement. To apply Send your CV and a short note. Tell us which topic or debate you think deserves more attention at a summit like MACHINA — and why. We are built on diversity and driven by inclusion. Whoever you are, wherever you come from, bring your unique voice to our team
