About The Role
The Project Scheduler will support APX EMEA FEED and early-stage projects by developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules in accordance with Project Controls standards and procedures. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, and other project stakeholders, the role ensures schedules accurately reflect project scope, execution strategies, interfaces, key milestones, and contractual commitments. As part of the EMEA Project Controls organization, the Project Scheduler may support multiple projects across the APX portfolio based on business priorities and workload requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for FEED and early-stage projects using Primavera P6, including WBS structures, logic networks, milestones, baselines, resource and cost loading, and progress measurement. Coordinate schedule inputs across Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, and other project functions to ensure alignment with project scope and execution strategy. Perform schedule analysis, forecasting, and critical path assessments to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and potential impacts to key project milestones. Provide schedule performance reporting, variance analysis, and early warning indicators while supporting mitigation and recovery planning activities. Ensure effective integration between scheduling, cost management, and other Project Controls disciplines. Support schedule baseline development, reviews, and implementation of Project Controls standards, methodologies, and processes across the EMEA portfolio. Support Earned Value Management (EVM) processes through schedule integration, progress measurement, and performance analysis. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to Project Controls tools, reporting, and scheduling practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Science, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered. Minimum 5 years of project scheduling experience within complex engineering, energy, nuclear, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Demonstrated proficiency with Primavera P6, including schedule development, baselining, resource and cost loading, progress measurement, and critical path analysis. Experience supporting FEED, engineering, or early-stage project development activities is preferred. Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), cost and schedule integration, and Project Controls principles. Preferred Certifications Oracle Primavera P6 Certification PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) Other relevant Project Controls certifications Skills Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6. Strong understanding of scheduling principles, resource planning, cost loading, progress measurement, and EVM. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
