Fresnes, Ile-de-France Bookday Télétravail Temps plein 680 € CDD
Sales / Business Development Intern Full-time
· 6 months ideally
· Start ASAP
· Remote About Bookday Bookday is an early-stage SaaS helping independent fitness & wellness studios manage bookings, payments, memberships and their day-to-day operations. I’m the founder and I’m looking for someone to work directly with me on growing Bookday, with a strong focus on outbound sales — especially in the US and other English-speaking markets. We’re still small and early-stage, so this is a hands-on startup internship. You’ll have a lot of autonomy, try things, talk to customers, and see directly what works and what doesn’t. What you’ll actually do The core of the role is simple: find potential customers, pick up the phone, and start conversations. You’ll:
• Make a high volume of cold calls to studio owners
• Reach out through email, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Qualify prospects and book demos
• Follow up consistently
• Keep the CRM and pipeline organized
• Test different scripts, messages and approaches
• Share what you’re hearing from the market: objections, competitors, pricing, etc. This is a sales-heavy role. If you dislike cold calling, this probably isn’t the right internship. Who I’m looking forExperience matters less than attitude. You might be a good fit if you’re:
• Very comfortable talking to people
• Not afraid of making lots of cold calls
• Energetic and persistent
• Resourceful — you figure things out rather than waiting for instructions
• Interested in startups / entrepreneurship
• Comfortable working independently
• Fluent or near-native in English You don’t need previous SaaS or sales experience. Internship formatA few important details, especially for international applicants:
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: ideally 6 months
• Commitment: full-time internship — this is not a summer internship or a few hours per week
•

Location:
fully remote possible;
• Compensation: French statutory internship compensation (around €680/month) if in France
• International applicants: welcome For a French internship, you’ll generally need to be enrolled in a school/university that can provide an internship agreement (“convention de stage”). If that isn’t possible and you’re legally able to work as an independent contractor from your country, we can also discuss a contractor setup.

How to apply
No cover letter needed — actually, please don’t send one :) Instead, send your CV / LinkedIn + a short voice note in English (2–5 minutes total) or a video. Nothing polished or overprepared — I’d much rather get a feel for who you are and how you naturally communicate. Tell me:
• A bit about yourself, what you’re doing right now, and what you’re looking for over the next 6 months
• Whether you genuinely see yourself spending a good part of your day cold calling / DMing studio owners, in a very early-stage startup with little structure
• Something you’ve done that you’re proud of — doesn’t have to be professional
• A startup, entrepreneur or product you’ve discovered recently that you find interesting, and why
• When you could start, how long you’re available for, and whether you can commit full-time
• And just confirm that you’ve seen the ~€680/month internship compensation mentioned above and that it works for you Short, honest and spontaneous answers are perfect. Voice note or video preferred: LinkedIn (Emmanuel Bellity) or WhatsApp at +33 6 12 61 25 99 or email eb@bookday.io LinkedIn limits voice messages to 1 minute each, so feel free to send several in a row.
