Company Description RECAERO SAS is a fully integrated "one-stop shop" for the manufacture of proprietary metallic and composite aerospace sub-assemblies and components. We support our customers throughout the entire aircraft life cycle, from initial design and development through to speed-shop work and aftermarket spares. Holding more than 100 special process qualifications with major OEMs such as Airbus, Dassault Aviation, Safran and GE Aerospace, RECAERO operates an integrated factory covering machining, sheet metal, surface treatment and assembly. Our focus is on delivering high-quality parts on time and building reliable, long-term partnerships. To offer the best value, we combine our Bangalore facility, dedicated to medium
- and high-volume production, with our French sites, which specialise in urgent, short-run manufacturing. Beyond manufacturing, RECAERO provides engineering and certification capabilities through its Design Organisation, approved under EASA Part 21 Subpart J (EASA.21J.664). This approval enables us to support our customers not only in producing parts, but also in designing, substantiating and certifying them. Every project follows a structured process involving independent Compliance Verification Engineers and an Office of Airworthiness, ensuring that each design meets all regulatory requirements before it reaches production. By combining an approved design organisation with an integrated manufacturing facility, RECAERO delivers true end-to-end solutions, from the engineering of a repair or modification to the delivery of the certified part. This shortens lead times and simplifies the supply chain for our customers. Joining our DOA team means working on concrete and varied airworthiness projects across major civil platforms, within a close-knit organisation where your engineering decisions have a direct and visible impact. Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid position as DOA Drafter / Project Manager, based in Ramonville-Saint-Agne (near Toulouse). You will produce detailed technical drawings and 3D models of aerospace components and sub-assemblies, ensuring compliance with design standards, certification requirements and customer specifications. You will also coordinate project schedules, monitor progress and work closely with the engineering, production, quality and supply chain teams to ensure deliverables are met. In addition, you will support design changes, documentation updates and configuration management, and take part in technical reviews and customer meetings. Your day-to-day work will involve CAD tools and the review of technical data, and you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our drafting and project management processes. Qualifications
• Strong technical drafting and design skills, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g. CATIA, SolidWorks or similar) and experience producing 2D drawings and 3D models of aerospace or mechanical components.
• Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk tracking and coordination of cross-functional activities from design through to production.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards, certification processes and documentation practices within a DOA or similar regulated environment.
• Rigour in technical documentation, configuration management and change control, with the ability to keep records accurate and up to date.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setting, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and take part in discussions with customers and suppliers.
• A degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial design or a related field; previous experience in the aerospace industry is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with standard office and project management tools (e.g. MS Office, project planning software) and the ability to work in an international industrial environment.
• A strong problem-solving mindset and a commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
