About the Role
MedChemExpress (MCE), a global provider of research chemicals, custom synthesis services and life-science research products, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist based in France. The role will work closely with the EMEA technical and commercial teams to provide scientific and technical support to customers across Europe, with a focus on Biochemistry and Medicinal Chemistry. Main responsibilities include:
• Technical enquiry and email support – primary responsibility
• Online customer technical meetings – primary responsibility
• Product and technical training – secondary responsibility
• On-site conference, exhibition and marketing support – Tertiary responsibility The successful candidate should be confident in communicating complex scientific information clearly and working closely with internal Product, R&D, Production, QA and QC teams.

Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Enquiry & Customer Support
• Manage and respond to customer technical enquiries, mainly by email and online communication.
• Provide technical support in areas including: custom synthesis, compound handling, QC with HPLC and NMR analysis, bioconjugation, screening libraries, Antibody-drug conjugation (ADC).
• Review customer requirements, scientific literature and technical information to provide solution for the customer’s inquiry
• Coordinate with Product, R&D, Production, QA and QC teams for complex or customized projects.
• Assist with technical troubleshooting, quality concerns and customer complaints.
• Participate in online and face-to-face customer technical meetings and follow up on agreed actions. 2. Product & Technical Training
• Work with Product Managers to deliver technical and product training to internal sales teams and distributor partners.
• Prepare training materials, technical presentations and case studies. Translate complex scientific information into clear and practical commercial guidance.
• Prepare and mark monthly weekly quiz. 3. Scientific Marketing, Conferences & Exhibitions
• Represent MCE at scientific conferences, exhibitions and customer events across Europe.
• Provide technical support at exhibition booths and engage with researchers about their scientific requirements.
• Present relevant MCE products, technologies and services.
• Support scientific presentations, posters, workshops and technical seminars. Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or above in Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biotechnology or a related discipline.
• Previous laboratory or research experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong scientific literature research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with international teams.
• Willingness to travel within Europe for customer meetings, conferences and exhibitions. Language Requirements
• English: Essential
• Mandarin Chinese: Essential/Highly desirable
• French: Highly desirable
• Other European languages are advantageous.
