About The Company
Putting domain expertise and artificial intelligence at the heart of the decisions that finance millions of projects, vehicles, and equipment around the world is the core of what we do. For more than 20 years, Teamwill Consulting has been supporting leading players in banking, consumer finance, and mobility through their strategic and technological transformations. Operating in 11 countries and bringing together more than 800 professionals, the Group combines deep industry expertise, close client relationships, and the ability to deliver on a global scale. Artificial intelligence is a cornerstone of our growth strategy. To carry that ambition, we are strengthening our technology, engineering, and data teams.
About The Role
Teamwill Consulting’s Data Migration & Quality practice moves clients from legacy data platforms to modern, target architectures without losing trust in the data along the way: mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and lineage. As an AI Data Engineer, you will build the pipelines and tooling that make data migrations safe and auditable, integrating artificial intelligence to enhance processes such as high-level mapping, anomaly detection, and planning. Your role involves designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, managing schema evolution, and applying AI techniques to streamline complex migration tasks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, software engineers, and client data owners to ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient migrations in regulated environments. Qualifications
• Master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in computer science, data engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building production data pipelines
• Experience with large-scale data migration or platform modernization projects
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with data pipeline testing frameworks such as PyTest
• Practical knowledge of schema as code and versioning tools like Liquibase or similar
• Experience working with relational databases at scale, such as PostgreSQL
• Working familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Comfort working with AI tools, including large language models and AI coding agents
• Excellent communication skills in English; French proficiency is a plus for roles based in France or Tunisia Responsibilities
• Design and develop data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems to target architectures
• Translate embedded business logic within databases (e.g., stored procedures) into versioned, testable application code
• Maintain ingestion and monitoring scripts with comprehensive logging and traceability to quickly identify and resolve data issues
• Implement schema evolution strategies and manage versioned database migrations, including transitioning from shared to individual schemas per service
• Define and enforce data access controls, applying the principle of least privilege in collaboration with security and infrastructure teams
• Design and execute data reconciliation and dual-run cutover processes to validate migration success before decommissioning legacy systems
• Develop automated data quality controls, including validation rules, anomaly detection, and consistency checks
• Leverage AI, including large language models, to assist with high-level data mapping, migration planning, and anomaly detection
• Build containerized data-processing components with well-documented APIs for reuse across projects
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to sequence complex migrations, especially in live, regulated environments Benefits
• Competitive salary package aligned with experience and expertise
• Opportunities for professional growth and development in cutting-edge AI and data engineering fields
• Collaborative and inclusive work environment fostering innovation
