You will join the Facility Management & Real Estate (FMRE) department, responsible for providing and maintaining Airbus buildings, infrastructure, and employee support — specifically within the Digital Office team, which delivers digital solutions to address diverse operational and strategic challenges. Your internship will involve: Managing mini-projects within the geospatial team to address concrete, day-to-day challenges faced by Airbus, delivering geographically and digitally enabled solutions. You will have access to GIS tools (ArcGIS, the dedicated FMGEO platform), a rich business data repository, and very high-resolution satellite imagery. This 6-month internship is scheduled to begin in February 2027 (this date is indicative and may be adjusted).

Key responsibilities
include: Assessing the maturity level of data model implementation within our GIS (Geographic Information System) environment. Identifying and proposing improvement and optimization opportunities for our GIS tools and processes. Managing continuous improvement projects, from needs analysis to solution deployment. Collaborating with business teams to understand their requirements and ensure developed solutions meet their needs. Contributing to the creation of technical documentation and user guides. Your supervisor will support you throughout the internship, helping you develop your skills and achieve your professional goals. This internship will help you develop the following competencies: Project Management in an Industrial Context: Apply and strengthen your project leadership skills within a cross-functional team in a stimulating international environment. Strategic Perspective: Join a multinational, cross-divisional team (Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters, Defence and Space), gaining deep insight into Airbus’s key technological and industrial challenges. Technical & Methodological Expertise: Lead innovation projects related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS), deepen your mastery of GIS technologies, and consolidate your skills to accelerate your career. Your boarding pass for this adventure: You are currently pursuing a Master’s 2, 5th year of engineering school, or equivalent in Geomatics (GIS), Remote Sensing, or a related field. skills:
Technical Skills GIS: Strong understanding of GIS concepts and tools, preferably with Esri environment experience (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online). Methodology: Solid knowledge of GIS-specific processes and methodologies. Databases: Good understanding of geographic databases and data modeling. Soft Skills Awareness of or prior experience in project management. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse business teams. Analytical mindset and initiative-taking.
