Role Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end AI programs, coordinate cross-functional teams, engage with business stakeholders, and ensure successful deployment of AI-driven solutions that align with the bank's digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI/ML projects across banking functions such as Risk, Compliance, Operations, Customer Service, Fraud Detection, and Lending.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, data scientists, architects, and engineering teams to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
• Drive project governance, resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage AI solution lifecycle including use-case identification, data readiness, model development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Coordinate with data governance, security, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure AI solutions meet banking regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor project KPIs and report progress to senior leadership and steering committees.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party AI technology partners where applicable.
• Support change management, user adoption, and training initiatives for AI solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of project/program management experience, with at least 3 years managing AI/ML or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, NLP, Predictive Analytics, and Data Science concepts.
• Experience delivering technology projects within Banking or Financial Services organizations.
• Knowledge of AI platforms and cloud environments such as Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, Databricks, or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar.
• Understanding of data governance, model risk management, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements. Preferred Qualifications
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or SAFe certification.
• Experience managing Generative AI initiatives involving LLMs, Chatbots, Copilots, Knowledge Management, or Intelligent Automation.
• Exposure to Banking domains such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Risk Management, AML, KYC, Fraud Detection, or Treasury Operations.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI, Model Governance, and AI Risk Management frameworks.
