• Prepare and issue RFQs based on technical scopes of work, commercial requirements and project execution needs
• Coordinate technical, HSE, quality, legal, finance and insurance reviews of bidders and proposals
• Carry out commercial bid evaluations, clarify qualifications and deviations, and prepare award recommendations
• Negotiate commercial and contractual terms: pricing, liabilities, schedule, payment terms, variations, guarantees and risk allocation
• Finalize and award subcontracts in line with company contracting policies and approved templates
• Administer subcontracts after award, monitoring obligations, deliverables, milestones, costs, invoicing and performance
• Manage contractual correspondence, variations, amendments, disputes and claims to protect schedule, cost and contractual position
• Chair or support subcontract progress and commercial meetings, and escalate material risks to project management
• Drive contract completion, final account settlement, supplier performance evaluation and formal close-out
• Support vessel chartering activities: RFQs, commercial evaluations and negotiations with shipowners, brokers and marine service providers, using BIMCO-based contracts where applicable
• Keep procurement and contract records, ERP data and reporting accurate and audit-ready
• Coach junior buyers involved in subcontracting and chartering What you bring
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Maritime, Logistics or a related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in subcontracting, contract administration or project procurement, ideally on offshore energy projects
