- Extendable Contract Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Industrial IT Support Consultant / Analyst to support and maintain industrial IT applications across manufacturing and production environments. The consultant will ensure service continuity, system reliability, operational efficiency, and effective application support while collaborating with IT teams, production stakeholders, and business users.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide application and technical support for industrial IT systems used in manufacturing and production environments.
• Manage incidents, service requests, troubleshooting, and problem resolution activities.
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of industrial applications.
• Participate in project lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, functional specifications, user acceptance testing, and production support.
• Maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, test cases, and user guides.
• Collaborate with IT teams, production users, and industrial site stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives across industrial IT operations.
• Ensure application availability, performance, and compliance with established IT service management processes.
• Travel to industrial sites as required to provide onsite support and coordinate with local teams. Required Skills and Experience
• IT support, application maintenance, or industrial information systems.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting industrial and manufacturing applications, such as:
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Industrial Historian systems
• Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Traceability and industrial labelling solutions
• Good understanding of manufacturing, production, logistics, and industrial processes.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL-based troubleshooting.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications, test cases, technical documentation, and user guides.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service management and incident management processes.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an experienced Industrial IT Support Consultant with hands-on expertise in supporting and maintaining manufacturing applications. The candidate should understand industrial operations, be comfortable troubleshooting production-critical systems, and have experience working closely with IT teams, business users, and manufacturing site stakeholders. Language Requirement: Professional proficiency in French and English is required. Work Arrangement: This is an onsite assignment based in Toulouse, France, with approximately 30% travel to industrial sites.
