To support our growth, we are looking for a Global Field Application Scientist Bovine based in either L’Aigle or Angouleme or open to relocate there.
Role and
Responsibilities:
IMV Technologies is looking for a Global Field Application Scientist Bovine, motivated by being the scientific reference in the field of reproductive biotechnologies. The goal is to support R&D and Sales in training our customer base, providing support and demonstrating our products value and biological impact. This role will have expertise in bovine. Detailed
Responsibilities:
• Delivering pre
- and post-sales support by providing biological support and innovative training in Reproductive biotechnologies (particularly semen processing, ultrasound scanning)
• For conducting field trials for validating R&D products that meets internal field trial procedure and industry best practice
• Continuous support for Sales, R&D and marketing teams and occasionally, Customer Care, Quality and Technical Service.
• Designing protocols and supervising and conducting trials in the laboratory, or in farms for R&D field trials. It also includes conducting statistical analyses, writing scientific publications and vulgarized reports, and participating in decisions about the continuation of projects. The position works closely with R&D and Marketing Project Managers to validate product launches and during the different phases of a project.
• Propose relevant improvements or new products to Marketing and R&D.
• Provide accurate information, resolving customer issues promptly.
• Deliver training to customers and to collaborators.
• Stay informed about the market, new products and customers inquiries.
• Work and prioritize requests autonomously to meet annual objectives and deadlines.
• Ensure an excellent company brand image and personal safety.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of field application processes. Profile: Education and experience requirements
• In-depth knowledge in the field of Bovine reproduction
• Experience in field trials, experimental design, data analysis and scientific writing
• Experience in semen processing, insemination, IVF and Embryo Transfer expertise
• Experience in the field of Equine reproduction is of advantage.
• Proven experience in training and troubleshooting equipment is desirable
• Languages skill: Business English and French are essential; in addition, Dutch or Spanish language skills are desirable. Skills and Key Characteristics
• A collaborative individual with demonstrated experience collaborating across team and with other departments
• You are customer-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to face customer issues
• Synthetic and clear. Able to deliver scientific and vulgarized facts.
• You meet your commitments and deadlines, to intervene directly on the destiny of an innovative company.
• At ease with complex prioritization and good time management
• Willingness to take ownership
• Work autonomously
