Job Description
Job Title: Outside Sales Representative Report to: Outside Sales Manager In this role, you will visit customers, learn about our products, and help businesses find the solutions they need. You will spend most of your time traveling within your assigned territory and building strong customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Travel throughout San Antonio and Southwest Texas to visit customers and potential customers.
- Meet with customers in person and make sales calls each day.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Participate in company-provided training to develop knowledge of products, services and pricing.
- Help customers understand how our products can benefit their business.
- Look for new sales opportunities and develop new customer accounts.
- Follow up on sales leads and customer requests.
- Participate in job shadowing and field training with management or experienced sales personnel as assigned.
- Develop an understanding of warehouse and operational processes so customer needs can be communicated accurately to appropriate internal team members.
- Keep customer information and sales records updated in the company CRM system.
- Meet sales goals and help grow company sales.
- Stay informed about competitors, industry trends, and market conditions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
- Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Work with team members in accounting, operations, and management to support customers.
- Ask questions and seek clarification when instructions, product information, procedures, or expectations are not understood.
- Help with inside sales or warehouse duties when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be 25 years of age or older due to insurability requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to travel and spend about 85% of your time visiting customers.
- Ability to manage your time and work independently. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, or another people-focused job.
- Experience using CRM software.
- Ability to speak both English and Spanish is a plus. Skills We Value
