Sustainable investment Analyst

The Sustainable investment Analyst oversees the full ESG analysis of the issuers/projects invested in the sustainable strategies managed by SCOR Investment Partners across different asset classes: corporate bonds, corporate loans, real estate and infrastructure loans, etc.


Within SCOR Investment Partners (SCOR IP), the Sustainable Investment Team is responsible for the sustainable investment process, performing qualitative and quantitative analysis and developing tools to achieve state-of-the-art sustainability policy fully embedded in the investment process. The team makes recommendations to portfolio managers, based on the current situation, and on expected changes in issuer’s ESG quality. The head of Sustainable Investment directly reports to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

Within the Sustainable Investment team, you will be responsible for the full ESG analysis of the issuers/projects you will be assigned. Consequently, your input will be integrated in the investment process of the underlying sustainable funds managed by SCOR Investment Partners. 

Hence, while not limited to, your main mission will be to perform a deep analysis of a list of issuers/projects, to produce ESG analysis and warnings at inception and during the life of the investment.

In addition, you will contribute to the definition of new ESG processes and of the improvement of existing methodologies. You will perform research and inform SCOR IP on updates in sustainable finance, support commercial teams on ESG client’s requests and RFPs, as well as process and analyze portfolios’ ESG data.


Required experience & competencies

Experience: 

Between 1-3 years of experience with an ESG/CSR background and finance skills

Personal Competencies :

Highly organized  Team orientation and collaborative working style  Good verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic with attention to detail Flexible and adaptable, capable of delivering results under time pressure Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)

Required Education

Masters in Sustainable Finance, Finance with sustainability major, Economics or equivalent
