We are looking for a talented IT Team Leader with an strong experience in Data Center Operations to join our team. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in Linux systems, containerization, virtual machines, grid engines, clustering, networking, and security.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage extensive IT initiatives, encompassing the creation and implementation of novel IT systems and services
- Supervise the efficiency of information technology systems, assessing cost and productivity, and proposing enhancements to the IT infrastructure
- Contribute to shaping the strategy, architecture, and processes of IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to analyze business requirements and formulate IT solutions
- Evaluate vendors and establish testing approaches for new hardware and software
- Address internal IT-related hardware and software challenges through effective troubleshooting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center management and operations
- Strong experience with Linux server administration and scripting
- Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies like Xen, VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and devices
- Experience with grid engine clusters and high-performance computing environments
- Knowledge of data center security best practices and industry standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, RHCE, VCP, or Security+ are preferred
