Our client, a vibrant US Fintech focusing on international payments, is building the future of money for Africans in the diaspora in Paris and around the world. Their mission is clear - Africans living in the diaspora are greatly underserved by traditional and modern banks and the system just doesn’t work from account opening to identity verification requirements. They believe there should be an alternative to the banking of the past and they’re focused on helping their customers better manage their finances in their country of residence and country of origin for personal and business banking needs.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and connected Growth Manager to join this dynamic team, based in or near Paris. The ideal candidate will have strong ties to their local Algerian, Moroccan, Tunesian or Senegalese community, particularly in Paris and France.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for customer acquisition in the Algerian/Tunisian/Moroccan or Senegalese market in France through community partnership and engagement
- You will be responsible for managing the remittance product for the Algerian/Tunisian/Moroccan or Senegalese community and recommending fixes, changes to improve the experience
- Daily management of competitor analysis with regards to FX competitiveness of the client’s app
- You will be responsible to create and execute growth and marketing plans in France
within the Algerian/Tunisian/Moroccan or Senegalese community
- Partner with influencers and community leaders in the Algerian/Tunisian/Moroccan or Senegalese community on behalf of the client including but not limited to stores, mosques & churches etc.
- You will be the face of the client’s financial solutions within the Algerian/Tunisian/Moroccan or Senegalese community in France
- Also focus on user experience and product quality for the Algerian/Tunisian/Moroccan or Senegalese community
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to succeed at your role
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least a minimum undergraduate degree
- A Algerian/Tunisian/Moroccan or Senegalese living in Paris
- 2+ years experience working in sales France (ideally in a sales-related role)
- Fluent in English and French (speaking and writing)
- Experience working in an immigrant related workspace or event focused company
- Evidence of strong ties to the Algerian/Tunisian/Moroccan or Senegalese communities in Paris and beyond
- Willingness to travel across the country as well as outside of France to meet with the rest of the team or manage community engagements
- Ability to work on weekends at community events
- Ability to make clear presentations on growth plans
- Ability to work with excel
Location:
The position will be based in Paris, with the expectation of occasional travel
Compensation & Benefits:
Base: €48k annual salary
