Insulation Supervisor x3 - Grangemouth KG TAR
TAR window 17th August – 05th Oct, Pre & Post TAR works. Recruiting from 22nd Jul for a proportion of the workforce anticipated end date mid - end of Oct.
NAECI rates of Pay with £2.37 2nd tier bonus during the TAR window £1 all other times, 6 days working 57 hours per week
Key functions
To carryout Supervisory duties in a manner to comply with Altrad and client procedures, maintaining Health and Safety and Thermal Insulation practices.Main Duties & Responsibilities
To understand the Altrad Health and Safety policy, and ensure the policy is adhered to by all employee under their Supervisory control.Demonstrate effective communication, discussing working methods and safety risk assessments via pre-job briefings.Communicate with the Altrad technical/safety department to determine adequate safe systems of work. Identify and escalate any significant risks to health and safety of employees or third parties who may be affected by any Altrad operations.Assess tasks and work areas in preparation for Risk Assessments and Method Statements to be compiled.To supervise employees under their control, ensuring the tasks are being carried out correctly and safely in line with Altrad procedures.Monitor and maintain good housekeeping, ensuring work areas are kept tidy.Attend planning meetings, both Altrad and the client.Report to the Site Manager daily, communicating operational updates, progress of planning of work under their supervisory control. Report all Accidents and Incidents to the Site Manager immediatelyQualifications and Experience:

Knowledge and understanding of Thermal Insulation, (NVQ or City & Guilds)IOSH Managing SafelyCCNSG Safety Passport Thermal Insulation CSCS Gold Card Card holder, desirable.Quite simply, a journey with Altrad begins with a desire to create a better tomorrow…
