What you do

The Global Operations Internal Control Manager is is placed within our Quality division in Operations and is directly reporting to the Central quality Lead. The role is responsible for designing Operational Internal Control framework, OPS ICS Guideline, preparing and manage the operational Self-Assessment Plan for regular follow-up, analyzing the Operations Audit reports and recommend the extended implementation plan related actions. This role develops the communication with LoB leaders to implement and improve the 1st Line of defense by the Internal Control activities defined in the AzP Group Governance and Control System. Global standards are important to maintain Allianz Partners' service quality and reliability. This role is also responsible for establishing regular monitoring rules for the publication and establishment of operational global standards. This role will be working closely with the Operations LoB Managers, as well as other operational functions (Procurement, Facility Management, Network Management, Medical Ops, International Health), and other relevant departments within the Business Units and in Headquarters (Compliance, Internal Audit, Organizational Management & IT):

 Operational Internal Control Framework Defining the continuous and sustainable Operational Internal Control model (OPS ICS) for all LoBs. To ensure that regular control activities are completed within the determined program and in accordance with control rules and monitoring the results. Preparing and manage the self-assessment catalogues and planning for regular follow-up Global Standards To ensure that Global Standards, Operational processes and the Functional Rulebooks are delivered to all countries and implemented successfully. Support the local operations for the gap analysis to detect any deviations. Coordinate the yearly review plan and maintain the Ops Corporate Rulebook Continuous improvement Analyzing GO and BU Operations Audit Reports and identifying common finding actions. To recommend the global implementation of common Audit finding actions for the same LoB. Preventing recurrent Audit findings with proactive actions and improve the service quality Integrate internal control outcomes within quality management loop and track the remediations. Communication & Coordination Create a community of experts within BUs To be the champions of process adherence and local implementation. Raising internal control competence and employee awareness with online trainings, events and internal communication.

Key requirements/What you bring

10+ years’ experience in working with intercultural operations in insurance, assistance or banking Strong knowledge in quality and training environment Experience in project management mainly related to functional rules and audit Strong process efficiency focus Fluency in English Strong communication skills, team spirit and flexibility Ability to multitask and work remotely in an international environment.
