Senior Manager, Product Marketing - Airlines Order Business DomainAbout the business
The Airline industry has engaged into a key business transformation adopting retailing techniques aiming to simplify processes, reduce cost, improve customer empowerment, and incorporate new revenue sources while enriching personalized offers. The shop, order, pay flow and the entire transformation will be supported by the new Offer and Order Management Systems.
This transformation will take some years with a transition period of incremental stages providing value and moving from the capabilities of a PSS portfolio towards the new Airline Retailing capabilities. This business revolution happens only every decade and it is an unique opportunity to participate and build the future.
Your main responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering future world-class Airline solutions within the Order Business Domain that will maximize long term success for our customers and Amadeus by focusing on market, customer & market dynamic insight. Ensure the translation function among products, sales, marketing & customer success.
Manage a large team; have accountability for the performance and results of multiple related units.
Develop departmental plans, coordinate allocation of resources and controls policy formation in area of responsibility.
Anticipate business issues and challenges for the department to define and resolve complex problems that may impact into the division / function.
Work following the overall department strategy, with limited supervision in a complex environment
Understand customer's business and issues and develop the business/product value proposition.
Define and own the overall business/product marketing strategy including key positioning with content, messages, tools and channels.
Understand market dynamics including industry trends, traveler trends and competitive landscape.
Manage products profitability aligning resources dedicated to product through the products lifecycle. Design and ensure implementation of the pricing strategy to maximize revenue.
Translate the strategy into Marketing Plan including marketing and communications actions.
Elaborate and execute yearly marketing plan.
Define metrics of success for business/product plans and evaluate the marketing performance and customer experience.
Identify opportunities for the development of new or enhancement of existing products through analysis of market, competitor and customer information and knowledge of Amadeus' potential offering that will meet customer needs.
Coordinate elements for product launch: Information materials, training, support, marketing communication materials, positioning, pricing and sales roll out.
Supporting strategic pricing, bid pricing of products, billing model checks and high level business case

Extensive experience in Product Marketing.
Experience working in a large, complex, international environment.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
Demonstrated skills in change management, accountability, strategy, and working with uncertainty.
Airline industry experience is appreciated.
Professional proficiency in English is required.
