As Head of CommEx - France & DACH , you will be a member of the European CommEx leadership team reporting directly to the Head of CommEx, Europe. You will be based in Paris/France but will support both the France and DACH cluster of markets (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) from a Commercial Excellence perspective. As a result, you will likely represent the CommEx function at the local leadership team meetings in the countries too . In this role, a typical work includes:
Partners with franchise leadership to proactively provide insights and recommendations on commercial execution, such as Go-To-Market model and field force productivity Influences and collaborates with international CommEx solution delivery team, international CommEx franchise heads, regional CommEx Head, country franchise and commercial heads and country functional leaders for daily operations Leads, engages, manages and motivates cluster/country CommEx team Owns execution of all core CommEx processes at cluster/country including but not limited to: Account Profiling, Segmentation, Territory design, Quota-To-Payout, President’s club Leads quarterly Incentives governance reviews in cluster/country Leads change management and adoption of new CommEx tools/technologies through trainings and new rep on-boarding Drive standardization to international framework and simplification/optimization of CommEx tools/processes Represents cluster/country CommEx in QBRs, commercial reviews, sales meetings and leadership meetings Filters and prioritizes enhancement requests related to CommEx platforms from cluster/country according to agreed prioritization framework Partners cross functionally to execute international campaigns and projects as per DRCIs Owns execution of all CommEx projects at cluster/country including international/regional franchise projects such as 200m$ campaign, Next Best Engagement Identify and implement CommEx solutions to cluster/country business needs/problems in line with Alcon priorities and CommEx function strategy Key partner to the Franchise Heads: providing business insights based on data held within CommEx systems Responsible for providing Cluster/Country feedback, improvement opportunities, potential solutions and actions undertaken to regional/international on CommEx processes/projects/tools/commercial execution Responsible for in cluster/country communications from CommExWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Education: Bachelor Degree (Masters Preferred) in Science, business, economics, engineering or other related quantitative field 12+ years professional experience with Medical devices / sales and marketing / commercial excellence experience preferred 5+ years of experience in active business partnering role (e.g. finance P&L management) or leading a team in commercial position in marketing or sales 3+ years in a country commex role in a large market and / or leading a small team Fluent English & French language required + German as a nice-to-have Ability to lead a team and engage/partner with senior stakeholders at a market level is essentialHOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:
