Job Title: Europe Product Marketing Manager
Base in: Lyon, France
Reporting Relations: Directly report to Europe Marketing Director
Seniority level: Junior; Mid-Senior level
Language Capability: Fluent in French and English, Chinese is a plus
Mission:
- Ensure effective and engaging real-time communication of the internal product roadmap between HQ and European teams.
- Support sales and business development by providing product expertise and marketing materials to accelerate growth in Europe.
- Lead pre-sales initiatives, facilitating bid management to ensure seamless coordination between front-line teams and back offices in Europe and HQ.
- Collaborate with HQ product teams to integrate European market requirements into the product roadmap.
- Promote Sunmi products and brand to a diverse range of customers and partners in the region, alongside operational branding efforts.
- Enhance and consolidate market knowledge regarding Sunmi's various business operations in Europe.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a central point of contact between different entities, providing tailored product expertise and materials to support teams. Lead internal cross-department projects as well as external RFP/RFI bid management and key account/business projects.
- Capture experiences and best practices, formalizing them into efficient processes and official documentation.
- Conduct business analytics and market insights research (channels, offers, competition, business models, pricing, trends) through ongoing surveys and targeted studies.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue business opportunities, contributing to regional business planning and the construction of business cases.
- Boost Sunmi's brand awareness and communication through digital marketing initiatives.
- Oversee customer and partner marketing, as well as pre-sales project management.
- Manage the product roadmap, including product positioning, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy execution.
- Contribute to all stages of product lifecycle management, from product definition with global teams to product launch execution and end-of-life planning.
- Identify product improvements and assess product sales performance.
Candidate Profile:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in product management for technology products (consumer electronics, professional electronics, business IT solutions) and project management (internal and external, preferably cross-functional and cross-cultural).
- Experience in product and project management across one or more of Sunmi’s key business areas: Retail, Mobility, Hospitality, Payment, Transportation, Logistics.
- Demonstrated skills in digital marketing with excellent verbal and written communication abilities; fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Chinese or experience working with Chinese teams is a significant advantage.
- Customer-centric, straightforward thinker with a results-driven mindset; operationally autonomous and agile, passionate about energizing a fast-growing business.
