We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in pumps and fluid handling systems, with a proven track record in sales within the wastewater industry. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and providing technical expertise to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wastewater sector.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, engineers, and contractors.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, demonstrating the benefits of our products.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support to customers during the sales process, including product selection, application, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met and technical specifications are adhered to.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Account Management:
- Manage existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring profitable and sustainable business.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses in the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to management.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the wastewater or pump industry.
- Strong understanding of pump technologies, fluid dynamics, and wastewater treatment processes.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a track record of successful business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
