THE ROLE
The Reporting System Officer consolidates the structure of the Fleet Navigational Center and improves data management. By strengthening this essential function, CMA CGM ensures that it can accurately meet regulatory requirements while improving the reliability and quality of its navigational data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support to vessels in the use of V2PS software and in the deployment of new versions.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the V2PS software (expertise in on-board and onshore requirements/development management/testing).
- Provide functional support for requests to work on V2PS/VRS data.
- Contribute to updating V2PS-related documentation.
- You will be part of the V2PS Team Support structure and will be able to work with all CMA-CGM Group entities that use data transmitted using V2PS.
- You will have to show initiative in defining the prospects for developing V2PS without losing the operational and functional aspects that result from its use on board CMA-CGM Group vessels. A maritime background would be an advantage.
PROFILE AND SKILLS
- Engineer or 5 years' higher education or Marine Officer
- Seagoing experience and/or maritime training (ENSM type)
- Strong interest in data analysis
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- An aptitude for teaching
