Job Description

We are looking for an Apparel Quality Manager W/M to: 

  • Lead the global apparel quality team through the advanced product quality planning (APQP) process to secure product and experience quality for our consumers.

You will work in close collaboration with our Marketing, Design, Merchandising, Finance, Legal, Supply, Sourcing teams.

You will report directly to the Operations Director.

 

Main Activities:

​​​​​Manage Apparel Quality Team at the Annecy and Shanghai Design Center

  • Cascade apparel quality strategic plan to the team through individual objectives
  • Provide the necessary support to the team to enable objectives achievements and deliver proper evaluation for continuous improvement
  • Cascade to Amer platforms (sourcing and quality) the Salomon apparel quality strategy and steer platform support and actions accordingly
  • Monitor and pilot quality budget

Own End to End Quality Assurance Process and Steer Quality Control Execution Process Through Amersport Platforms

  • Ensure product quality standards are defined and secure product compliance in regards of global and local legal constraints
  • Own seasonal product qualification plan (internal and external lab, field testing) for product and materials
  • Check the feasibility of projects in terms of quality and provide expertise to amend developments or question all or part of the development
  • Arbitrate the exemptions granted on the products and alert the Leadership Team in case of difficulties for arbitration
  • Lead and coordinate with the support of the sourcing team the plant quality improvement plan

Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Put in Place Corrective Action Plans

  • Follow Amersports platform quality KPIs: Q mark, return rate, cost of quality (COQ), net promoter score (NPS)
  • Return and defect root cause analysis and communication with cross functional teams (pattern makers, designers etc.)
  • Set up, lead and monitor corrective action plan execution

Supervise the After-Sale Service, Data Management and Claims

  • Inform market of potential quality issues and corrective action plan
  • Lead claim management with factory
  • Define and arbitrate “Guarantees” policy (level of coverage/support)

 

 

 

Directement rattaché(e) au Operations Director, notre futur(e) Specialiste Qualité Apparel H/F, aura pour missions de :

  • Diriger l’équipe mondiale de qualité de l’habillement par le biais du processus APQP pour garantir la qualité du produit et l’expérience pour nos consommateurs.

Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes Marketing, Design, Merchandising, Finance, Juridique, Approvisionnement, Sourcing.

 

Activités principales :

Gérer l’équipe chargée de la qualité Apparel au sein de l’Annecy et Shanghai Design Center

  • Transmettre le plan stratégique de qualité Apparel à l’équipe par le biais d’objectifs individuels.
  • Fournir le soutien nécessaire à l’équipe pour lui permettre d’atteindre ses objectifs et procéder à une évaluation appropriée en vue d’une amélioration continue.
  • Transmettre aux plateformes Amer (sourcing et quality) la stratégie de Salomon en matière de qualité des vêtements et orienter le support et les actions des plateformes en conséquence.
  • Contrôler et piloter le budget qualité

Vous êtes responsable du processus complet en matière de qualité et vous dirigez le processus d’exécution du contrôle de la qualité à travers les plates-formes d’amersport.

  • Assurer la définition des normes de qualité des produits et garantir la conformité des produits au regard des contraintes légales locales et internationales.
  • Gérer le plan de classification des produits saisonniers (laboratoire interne et externe, essais sur le terrain) pour les produits et les matériaux.
  • Vérifier la faisabilité des projets en termes de qualité et apporter son expertise pour modifier les développements ou remettre en cause tout ou partie du développement
  • Arbitrer les exemptions accordées sur les produits et alerter le Leadership Team en cas de difficultés pour l’arbitrage
  • Piloter et coordonner avec l’appui de l’équipe sourcing le plan d’amélioration de la qualité de l’usine.

Piloter les indicateurs clés de performance et mettre en place des plans d’action correctifs

  • Suivre les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) de qualité de la plateforme AS : Q Mark, taux de retour, cost of quality (COQ), net promoter score (NPS)
  • Analyser des retours et des causes des défauts et communication avec les équipes multidiciplinaire 
  • Mettre en place, diriger et contrôler l’exécution des plans d’action correctif

Encadrer le service après-vente, la gestion des données et les réclamations.

  • Informer le marché des problèmes de qualité potentiels et du plan d’action correctif
  • Diriger la gestion des réclamations avec l’usine
  • Définir et arbitrer la politique de “garanties” (niveau de couverture / support)

 

Qualifications

  • Required Work Experience: 7 to 10 years of professional experience with experience in development or textile production of performance sportswear.

  • Education: Textile Engineering and/or Quality

  • Foreign Language(s): English Fluency

  • IT Skills: Microsoft Office 

  • Specific Skills: 

    • Strong competencies using statistical tools, problem solving

    • Understanding of fabrication procedures, knowledge of quality norms

    • Comfortable with regular travel

  • Other Specific Transversal Skills: capacity to plan and organize efficiently, capacity to animate projects and teams, ability to negotiate, manage budgets, engage with consumers regarding the typology of products 

 

 

  • Expériences requises : 7 à 10 ans d’expérience professionnelle avec expérience en développement / production textile de performance sportswear.

  • Enseignement : Ingénieur textile et/ou qualité

  • Langue(s) étrangère(s) : maîtrise de l’anglais

  • Compétences informatiques : maîtrise du Pack Office

  • Compétences spécifiques : 

    • Maîtrise des outils statistiques, maîtrise des méthodes de résolution de problèmes

    • Connaissance des procédés de fabrication, connaissance des normes et procédures

    • A l’aise avec des déplacements fréquents

  • Autres compétences transversales spécifiques : capacité à planifier et organiser, capacité à animer, aptitude à la négociation, gestion budgétaire, engagement consommateur par rapport à la typologie du produit
