Your Mission


We are looking for a junior cash manager to join the cash management  team at BlaBlaCar. Their mission is to optimize and to ensure the proper management and the proper circulation of cash within the Group. As junior cash manager,  your role will be to be responsible for the cash management of the Group (excluding Ukraine and Russia), and get involved in treasury structuring projects. You will be reporting to the head of cash management and working with a team of 3  people. 


Your responsibilities

Cash ManagementReconciling bank flows, entering and monitoring short- and medium-term forecasts, monitoring cash positions and balancing accounts : monitor and forecast cash positions to ensure liquidity needs are met.Monitoring supplier payment cycles and exchanges with customer relations departments for refundsBeing partner between business unit and cash management including the PSP Management of banking relations in these countries.Optimizing payment and collection processes in cooperation with the accounting and business departments.Reporting and analysis of cash positions and forecastUpdating procedures Risk Management and management of back office operationsIdentifying and assessing financial risks on your perimeters, FX risks in particular Ensuring that contractual commitments are properly fulfilledManagement and resolution of disputes and incidents with external counterpartiesEnsure that the customer relations workflow is well completed from cash management perspectiveMonitoring and controlling holding company bank feesUpdating procedures
Banking relationshipIn charge of monitoring all types of commitments and administering the Group's banking powersAssisting legal entities with banking compliance regulations (KYC,...)Administration of EBICS contracts (setting up and configuring telematic banking services)Cash accountingReconciling of cash and accounting data every month in Blablacar ERP
Technology and Systems:To be involved in the administration and update of the  treasury tool (Kyriba), Updating procedures
Projects : With the support of the head of treasury :Participation in projects to optimize cash management and banking relations.Participation in current and future Group Treasury cross-functional projects.


Your qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance3-4 years of relevant experience in treasuryStrong understanding of financial markets, risk management, and interest in the treasury businessExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication abilities and good interpersonal skillsTeam spiritFull working proficiency in French and EnglishFit with our BlaBlaPrinciplesThriving in a collaborative, fast-growing and innovative environmentAbility to take ownership, aligned with business priorities
