Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Operations Specialist to join our team at Salomon. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and analyzing retail sales in the assigned area. You will identify prospects and sales opportunities that will generate future sales. You will also develop short-term retail sales plans and assess the operational needs of clients, contribute to improving brand and product awareness, and propose appropriate solutions.

Your missions :

  • Lead the renewal of standardized operating procedures through a thorough evaluation of our existing processes and policies.
  • Oversee the implementation of loss prevention and health and safety policies and procedures for our retail stores.
  • Design, deliver, and actively participate in training for store teams in close collaboration with the training team.
  • Create a checklist of actions to be evaluated, reflecting the key risks for the company.
  • Audit our stores to ensure compliance with expectations and define corrective actions.
  • Review journals extracted from the point of sale, detect anomalies, and take the appropriate actions.
  • Ensure the constant protection of the company’s assets (store cash, products, stores, equipment) through clear policies and procedures.
  • Lead the physical inventory process and the cycle count process.
  • Present a monthly report on our fleet, highlighting high-performing and underperforming aspects.
  • Define, in collaboration with district and store managers, short-term and mid-term actions to take.
  • Create a monthly dashboard, including specific KPIs to monitor, to evaluate the level of compliance in terms of health and safety, loss prevention, physical inventory, and results.

Nous recherchons un Retail Operations Specialist pour rejoindre notre équipe chez Salomon. Dans ce rôle, vous serez chargé de la planification et de l’analyse des ventes au détail dans la zone attribuée. Vous identifierez les prospects et les opportunités de vente qui généreront des ventes futures. Vous développerez des plans de vente au détail à court terme et évaluerez les besoins opérationnels des clients, contribuerez à l’amélioration de la notoriété de la marque et du produit, et proposerez des solutions appropriées. 

Vos missions :

  • Mener le renouvellement des procédures opérationnelles normalisées grâce à une évaluation approfondie de nos processus et politiques existants.
  • Superviser la mise en œuvre des politiques et procédures de prévention des pertes et de santé et de sécurité pour nos magasins de détail.
  • Concevoir, dispenser et participer activement à la formation des équipes de magasin en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de formation.
  • Créer une liste de contrôle des actions à évaluer, reflétant les principaux risques pour l’entreprise.
  • Auditer nos magasins pour garantir la conformité aux attentes et définir des actions correctives.
  • Passer en revue les journaux extraits du point de vente, détecter les anomalies et prendre les mesures appropriées.
  • Assurer la protection constante des actifs de l’entreprise (trésorerie des magasins, produits, magasins, équipement) grâce à des politiques et procédures claires.
  • Mener le processus d’inventaire physique et le processus de comptage cyclique.
  • Présenter un rapport mensuel sur notre flotte, mettant en évidence les aspects performants et moins performants.
  • Définir, en collaboration avec les responsables de district et de magasin, les actions à entreprendre à court et à moyen terme.
  • Créer un tableau de bord mensuel, comprenant des KPI spécifiques à surveiller, pour évaluer le niveau de conformité en matière de santé et de sécurité, de prévention des pertes, d’inventaire physique et de résultats.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Education : Master’s degree in business management, marketing, or sports management desired.
  • Needed Work experience : 
    • 3 years’ experience in the Retail industry or 2 years’ experience in a similar role in an international environment,
    • Experience in project management. 
  • Languages skills : English C1 required
  • Computer skills : 
    • Advanced knowledge of Office Suite
    • Use of CEGID – Y2 and point of sale (POS) tools.

  • Specific skills : Good knowledge of the retail business and shop operation

  • Specific transversal skills :
    • Ability to work within a team.
    • Emphasis on being persistent and the ability to solve complex cases.
    • Solution and results-oriented.
    • Creativity to develop innovative solutions.

  • Formation : Maîtrise en gestion d’entreprise, en marketing ou en gestion du sport souhaitée
  • Expériences : 
    • 3 ans d’expérience dans le secteur du commerce de détail ou 2 ans d’expérience dans une fonction similaire dans un environnement international.
    • Expérience en gestion de projet
  • Langues : Anglais C1 requis
  • Compétences Informatiques : 
    • Connaissance avancée de la suite Office
    • Utilisation de CEGID – Y2 et les outils de point de vente (POS).
  • Compétences spécifiques : 
    • Bonne connaissance du commerce de détail et du fonctionnement des magasins
  • Compétences spécifiques transverses : 
    • Capacité à travailler en équipe.
    • Accent sur le comportement persévérant et la capacité à résoudre des cas complexes. 
    • Orienté solutions et résultats.
    • Créativité pour élaborer des solutions innovantes.
