As part of its growth, the Communication business unit is looking for its future Communication Officer - Event Management
As a Communication Officer - Event Management, you will help design and implement targeted communication and media strategies for our research and innovation projects.
The purpose is to reach out to stakeholders on the issues we address, sharing the innovative solutions developed in projects we are involved in.
The subjects you will deal with are diverse, such as: low-carbon and renewable energies, climate change, nature-based solutions, raw materials, circular economy, etc.
The audiences we target are quite broad, ranging from the scientific community and industry, to market actors, policymakers at the EU and national levels, media and the general public.
You will join the communication team composed of 18 LGIers: 17 consultants and Suzi, the BU manager.
You will work on a daily basis on different projects, mainly European projects but also in B2B, you will work on generalist missions and partly on missions regarding Event Management.
You will also work with the other LGI business units (management, strategy, IT).
As a Communication Officer - Event Management at LGI, you will ...Generalist missions:
Generate content by writing, editing and copywriting reports, articles and posts Develop story angles and pitch very technical stories that have long-lasting impact as potential solutions to global challenges Community management: Develop social media strategies, coordinate and grow our projects' communities via social media, events and networking activities Produce engaging videos and podcasts that attract key audiences Design project logos, factsheets, infographics, and other visually-pleasing materials Monitor the impact of activities Disseminate scientific results in an easy-to-understand manner Lead communication and/or dissemination activities with project partners from around Europe and the world Support team members with feedback on their contributions and guidance on projects Design websites using Figma Contribute to LGI's corporate communication strategy Participate in proposal writing for potential opportunities Project management: Follow projects' budgets and ensure the team achieves goals on time Event Management Specialisation: Designing events for the various European and BtoB projects Creating communication before, during and after the event and attending events
