The Enterprise Account Manager Role:

Account Managers at SESAMm work with clients using textual data when evaluating investments and managing risk.

AMs gain a thorough understanding of SESAMm's clients needs, our sales processes and technology, so they can answer technical questions during meetings with clients.

AMs also use their expertise to accompany the delivery of SESAMm's tools. They also evaluate new needs and keep clients informed of new features, announcements and new contents made available. They coordinate with the Sales team to manage upsells and renewals.


In this role you will gain a deep understanding of Natural Language Processing and related technologies with the help of an expert team of data scientists.

You will also get to work closely with client teams at asset managers, private equity firms and corporates and understand the full decision-making lifecycle.


Finally, you will be joining a team very early in its growth cycle, which means you will have an opportunity to shape the team's culture.

You will also work closely with the product team as our clients voice regarding trending feedback and ideas and thus helping shape future developpement.


Key Activities:

  • Relationship management with existing clients to optimize customer satisfaction
  • Identify crosssell and upsell opportunities; communicate and coordinate with Sales team to execute on them
  • Coordinate with the sales team and the product team to onboard new clients
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers' business challenges and their technical environments to provide technical information, guidance, and support
  • Monitor and report on the health of clients and develop action plans for identified risks.
  • Proactively monitor complex issues working closely with engineering to resolve customer technical issues
  • Develop and improve Account Management processes and help onboard new team members
  • Act as the clients voice to report back to the product teams, communication feedbacks and needs

Desired Background and Skills:

Education:

  • Many different educational backgrounds can be successful in this role. A degree in finance, economics, business, or engineering will be especially valuable.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Customer Success or Account Manager with clientfacing experience, preferably in a startup environment

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of account management processes and tools
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, including at management level, to provide effective commercial management and to extend business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills: communicate with clients, understand their needs and issues, collaborate with internal teams
  • Experience selling / upselling / renewing product licenses
  • Ability to understand and articulate technology value propositions
  • Ability to tie business problems to technical solutions
  • Fluent English speaker with good writing skills
