And we need people like you to make it happen.We empower you to reach your potential with opportunities to make an impact to be proud of - for food, people and the planet.Job SummaryJoin our dynamic team as an Automation & Digital Business Development ManagerWe are looking for a talented individual to sell automation products and services, with a specific focus on the Automation and Digital portfolio, Tetra Pak Plant Master, which covers processing plants and packaging lines.As the Automation & Digital Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for providing expertise and sales support to account managers throughout the entire sales process, from understanding customer needs to conveying value.Based in Paris, France, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from all over Europe, as part of the PSE Automation & Solutions team.This is a permanent position, and travel will be required approximately 30% of the time.What you will doAs an Automation & Digital Business Development Manager, you will:
  • Be responsible for the Automation Sales Strategy - drive and develop a successful proactive strategy, differentiating local markets.
  • Lead Automation & Digital business development activities - contact prospects, understand customer needs, drive opportunities, increase awareness, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the sales community.
  • Participate in sales meetings with Account Managers and various Customer Stakeholders, demonstrating the value proposition and generating leads and opportunities for Automation & Digital Solutions.
  • Be part of a network of Automation & Digital Solutions, in contact with local resources and global teams.
  • Support the entire sales process (understanding customer needs, creating solutions, conveying value).
  • Drive sales and support pre-projects for Green and Brown Field projects.
We believe you haveWe are seeking a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of customer satisfaction and a strong commitment to Health & Safety. As a team player, you possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. You are passionate about learning and developing your skills and are comfortable working remotely in a virtual team. Knowledge of continuous & discrete manufacturing, as well as experience with Automation Control systems and MES software implementations, is essential.You should have:
  • A degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in Automation & IT, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven understanding of Operational Technology (OT) technologies such as PLCs, SCADA, programming, and commissioning activities.
  • Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), virtualization, and industrial networks.
  • An understanding of continuous & discrete manufacturing processes, particularly within the food industry, is a strong plus, as well as experience with Automation Control systems & MES software implementations in the food industry.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in the industrial automation sector.
  • Solid knowledge of the implementation of automation and digital solutions (PLC & HMI / MES / MOM / ERP Integration / IIoT) is considered a strong plus.
  • Experience with the Tetra Pak Automation Platform (Tetra Pak Plant Master) is an advantage.
  • Experience in Portfolio Management, Business Development, Consulting Services, and new digital business models is a plus.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is a must.
