Reporting to the Asendia Group Deputy CEO & CFO, you'll drive key initiatives, enhance the Risk & Compliance Program, and provide expert guidance to Asendia subsidiaries. Lead a dynamic team and collaborate with Regional Officers and business partners to maintain industry-leading standards. Make a significant impact on our global operations



Your tasks


Risk Management:

  • Develop and maintain a risk management framework.
  • Conduct global risk assessments and update risk registers.

Compliance Management:

  • Implement and manage the compliance program.
  • Ensure adherence to laws and update policies accordingly.

Policies and Processes Development:

  • Develop and update compliance and risk management policies and processes.
  • Provide training and guidance.

Internal Control:

  • Implement internal control frameworks and conduct audits.
  • Collaborate with our mother company.
  • Report on control effectiveness to management and the board.

Leadership:

  • Integrate risk management and compliance into strategic planning.
  • Lead the risk and compliance team and foster a culture of integrity.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare reports on risk and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation and communicate with stakeholders.

Alerts & Incident Management:

  • Manage whistleblowing and compliance investigations.
  • Implement corrective action plans.



Your profile


Education:

  • Master’s degree / Professional qualification / Certification in Risk & Compliance is necessary (including Data Protection)


Experience:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of international risk and compliance standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing risk management and international compliance programs.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity and accountability.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Fluent in English and French
