The Role:

The company is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead its business development efforts in France. The role will focus entirely on business development initially, as there is no existing client base in the region. This position requires a candidate with strong industry connections and the ability to open doors to medium and large-sized companies. The Sales Manager will be selling the full capabilities of the organisation, leveraging its global offerings, from contract manufacturing to R&D and centralised functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to build new business relationships in France.
  • Leverage a strong network of industry contacts to bring in significant business opportunities.
  • Sell the company’s entire suite of services, including dietary supplements, cosmetics, protein powders, and R&D functions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, moving from initial contact to deal closure.
  • Report to the European Sales Director and work closely with teams in Germany, Italy, and other centralised functions.
  • Attend industry events, client meetings, and travel as required to develop business.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in CDMO sales or a related field, with a focus on business development.
  • A self-starter with a strong network of industry contacts, particularly with medium to large companies.
  • Deep understanding of contract manufacturing, supply chain management, and product development.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Fluent in French and English is required.
