What is HBS ?
Host Broadcast Services, fully owned by Infront Sports & Media, is a specialist host broadcast organisation, originally established with the core mandate of producing the television and radio signals for the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups™.
Based in Switzerland, with its planning headquarters in Paris/Boulogne, the company has evolved since its formation in 1999 and built upon its unique capabilities by attracting expert personnel from the very top levels of the television industry to complement the experienced staff who have honed their skills over previous FIFA World Cups™.
Why we open this position ?
The Project Management Office (PMO) defines the standard of project management practices that must be applied as processes on each event covered by HBS. To optimize operations, the department serves as a knowledge base that combines the team assignment and related toolkits for an event. The PMO helps the operational teams every step of the way, from the beginning of planning to the delivery of the event. In an environment where more and more projects are part of the HBS portfolio, the department puts processes into place to help teams function consistently in terms of organization throughout projects.
The Delivery Manager Broadcast Planning Operations is the reference within the company when it comes to broadcast operational planning methodologies and platforms which are the heart of HBS operational resources planning
Your responsibilities
You are in charge of making sure that the platform is adequate to meet the needs of all stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Digital, Venue Management, IBC & Broadcast Structure).
This includes managing platform evolutions in accordance with the operational needs you gather, as well as documenting, configuring, and using it on projects.
Conduct Operational Planning Platforms’ roadmap of evolution
- Examine business needs in light of strategic orientations
- Test and commission new features provided by technical resources;
- Establish and prioritize evolution specifications; and
- Evaluate and formalize the process.
Manage events’ Operational Planning Platforms in collaboration with Projects’ PM-Teams
- Configuration and deployment in accordance to project/event requirements
- System administration
- Users training
- Users support
Manage Operational Planning Platforms within the company
- Guarantee that operational planning platforms are used consistently throughout various projects in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with feature-related change management
- Maintain consistent and current platform and related technique documentation (technical, functional, usage, support).

- Experience in operational planning
- Familiar with workflows and process modeling, functional specifications, user story.
- Proficiency in Agile / Scrum and waterfall project management approaches
