GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Planner is responsible for the planning, coordination and reporting of all operations and maintenance activities relating to the assets. The planner will be also responsible for the daily marine coordination and the inventory.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planner:

  • Supporting the development of the annual maintenance plan, and continual review.
  • Working with the Operations Manager and the Supervisory Team in the planning and coordination of electrical network outages and maintenance.
  • Tracking of WTG Maintenance activities.
  • Planning and reporting on the activities of all subcontractors executing scopes of inspection and maintenance activity.
  • Prompt reporting and investigation of defects, and under performance.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess maintenance performance against key performance indicators.
  • Report on the Status of Maintenance as part of the O&M management team.
  • To optimize the Synergie with the different contractors
  • Supporting the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Creation and maintenance of CMMS User guides & Work orders within the CMMS
  • Assist in the authoring, review, release and regular update of all Approved Written Procedures (AWP), along with Method Statements and Risk Assessments for operations and maintenance activities with the site supervisor.
  • Responsible for predicting resource requirements based on forecasted work activities.

Inventory & office:

  • Reporting on inventory status using software systems.
  • Order the spare if needed
  • Manage the stockage of the spare
  • Optimize the inventory
  • Contribute the identification and management of strategic spares with the site supervisor.
  • Maintain office efficiencies, plan for office events, welfare of staff and a general office account duty

Dayli marine coordinator:

  • Support in risk management and continuous improvement processes.
  • Monitor all systems for the tracking of vessels and transfer of personnel
  • Communicate with marine traffic using VHF Radio & similar communication tools used
  • Maintain logging, meeting and reporting routines as stipulated in the Marine Coordination Procedures
  • Coordinate monitoring and maintenance of navigational marking of the offshore site
  • Monitor and communicate weather reports
  • Prepare and issue advisory notices
  • Act as initial point of contact and coordinator for offshore emergency response plans
  • Support Search and Rescue operations
  • Monitor & Control Wind Farm Output via SCADA Systems
  • Work to strict Control Centre procedures
  • Maintain up to date WTSR (or LOTO) & Work Control record

REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS:

  • Good level of experience in planning and marine coordination
  • The use of software packages
  • Evidence of extensive industry specific technical training.
  • The use of planning software or equivalent.
  • At least BAC +2 in the maintenance or technical domain

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 3 years (internship included) experience as a planner from a similar position.
  • The use of a maintenance planning tool
  • How an office environment is maintained and managed

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Good knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Good knowledge of O&M planning tools and how to keep records.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • VHF communications

OTHER:

  • A desire to be part of the Offshore Windfarm team
  • Fluent English both verbal and written.
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Safety Rules would be an advantage.
  • Full driving license
