Are you a business development professional with a background in AI product selling that is looking for a new role in a high growth scaling Paris based team?
At European Tech Recruit we are working along side a high growth startup, helping them to bring on board a business development manager. The team are developing a compute platform for high performance computing with a software utilizing real-time telemetry and intelligent algorithms to optimize performance, power efficiency, and scalability dynamically for HPC and AI workloads.
Responsibilities
- Drive product sales for new and renewal business, ensuring achievement or surpassing of revenue targets.
- Collaborate with field and enterprise sales teams, as well as channel partners, to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, actively contributing at each stage.
- Act as a bridge between sales and technical teams, ensuring alignment on product capabilities, success stories, and winning strategies.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Represent Multiverse at industry events, conferences, and conventions.
- Lead advanced solution presentations, aligning company products with customer needs while positioning them as superior to competitors.
- Organize and coordinate technical support for demos, PoCs, evaluations, and training sessions.
- Work alongside team members to develop compelling proposals, quotations, and value propositions.
- Provide client insights to product development and marketing teams, helping shape future innovations.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. or degree in Science or Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting, with a proven track record in selling engineering/technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across functional teams (Development, Marketing, Product Management).
- Ability to coordinate and foster collaboration across globally distributed teams.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to analyze client challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
- Native French speaker, with fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A combination of a Science/Engineering degree and an MBA.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
