Sales Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

Develop your career at ABB with a global team driving industry transformation for a more productive and sustainable future. At ABB, we are committed to diversity and inclusion. Reporting to the head of the sales support group in the Marine and Ports activity, you will be responsible for drawing up bids for medium and large-scale projects for our shipowner and port customers. This position is based in l'Estaque - Marseille (13) - Participate in the definition of solutions, in collaboration with the sales engineer. - Design offers, taking into account the technical and strategic aspects of the business. - Determine production costs by: predimensioning subsystems and consulting our internal and external suppliers. As well as calculating service volumes for the main work to be carried out. - Identify risks and draw up costed contingency plans. - Draw up technical and commercial offers, - Carry out site audits with a view to drawing up the offer, - Participate in internal presentations (risk review, Gate, GoNoGO, bid review, etc.) and external presentations (sales presentations, presentations, trade fairs) in support of sales engineers. You'll be joining a high-performance team where you can flourish.

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree in electrical engineering and/or automation or 2 years' higher education with significant experience (minimum 10 years),
  • Multi-disciplinary knowledge: variable speed / automation / HV/LV electrical engineering / Process.
  • Autonomy, ability to take calculated risks, writing skills and a strong sales orientation are necessary qualities for this position.
  • English essential - written and spoken.
