The opportunity

The person will be primarily responsible for: financial management, forecasting, and strategic business partnering. You will champion continual improvement, encouraging new ideas and personal development, providing direction and support to ensure your teams deliver consistently.

Some of the Finance Business Partner responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Financial Performance Management:

• Overseeing the financial results, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitoring and analyzing financial performance to identify areas of risk and opportunity.

Forecasting & Planning:

• Leading the forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring accurate financial projections.
• Continuously adjusting plans to reflect changing market conditions and business dynamics.

Management Reporting:

• Providing insightful management reporting to leadership teams.
• Presenting key financial metrics, trends, and actionable insights to drive decision-making.

Risk & Opportunity Identification:

• Proactively identifying and evaluating financial risks and opportunities, collaborating with business leaders to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

Project Management:

• Leading or supporting various projects within the region, ensuring financial objectives are met.

The expertise you bring

• May be qualified finance professional or have equivalent operations experience.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions which deliver demonstrative benefits.
• English and French speaker requirement.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• The ability to motivate others as well as influencing audiences outside of his/her direct control.
• Strong skills in relationship and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to deliver operational activities to a consistent high standard and optimum value add.
