* Infrastructure & Production Project Manager in a complex environmentCONTEXT Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager for Infrastructure and Production to oversee upgrades and decommissioning of core technologies, which must be completed by the end of September. One project involves upgrading our relational database system across all areas of our business information system (from PostgreSQL V13 to PostgreSQL V16). Another project focuses on reducing the obsolescence of our Apache infrastructure, and yet another involves decommissioning our Citrix infrastructure. This latter project is not simply a decommissioning project; it also includes defining and implementing an alternative to Citrix in certain areas. Ideally, the candidate will have experience leading system component upgrade projects within an IT obsolescence management context. They will have managed integration and migration projects in a multi-stakeholder environment (which requires strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills). Strong project management skills in a demanding technical environment and within a multi-departmental organization are essential. A keen interest in technical matters is required. A solid understanding of operations and ITIL processes (practical experience is necessary) is a plus (change management, incident management, etc.) and will be given significant weight in the evaluation.
RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will initially be responsible for: – Managing the integration of a business accounting software package (CEGID XRP Ultimate solution) coupled with an Oracle database and integrated into the information system. Following this, they will be responsible for defining and managing a project to integrate a functional software package currently being selected to replace our document management system (DMS).
