We're hiring: Business Development Manager - Protein & Food Commodities
EM Export S.A.S. | Lyon or Cholet | Full-time
Do you have a strong commercial instinct - and a drive to make deals happen?
EM Export, part of the Danfond Group, trades protein raw materials, by-products and fats - fresh and frozen - across Europe and beyond. We are now strengthening our French team with a commercial profile who wants to build business, not just manage it.
What you'll do
- Buy and sell meats, by-products and fats for human consumption and pet food
- Open and grow customer and supplier relationships in France, Spain, Portugal and Eastern Europe
- Negotiate prices, terms and margins - and follow every deal from first contact to delivery
- Work side by side with our Sales Manager in France and colleagues across the Group
Who you are
- Experienced in B2B food - trading, slaughterhouses, by-products or meat processing (seafood, poultry, dairy or ag-commodity trading also welcome)
- A track record of opening new accounts, not just maintaining a book
- Fluent in French and English - Spanish is a plus
- Deal-driven, takes ownership, comfortable with modern IT tools including AI
