We are looking to strengthen our Group QHSSE Department by recruiting a Group QHSE Manager for our headquarters in Toulouse.

Reporting directly to the Group QHSSE Director, you will join a dynamic corporate team supporting Newrest operations worldwide through a matrix organization.

The Group QHSSE Department acts as an internal center of expertise, ensuring the deployment of Newrest's Integrated Management System (IMS), driving continuous improvement, supporting operational excellence, and promoting a strong food safety culture across all business activities.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international environment and play a key role in supporting Newrest's growth and operational performance worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

Operational Support & Audits

  • Conduct operational, food safety, quality, health & safety, ramp safety & security (IMS) audits within Group subsidiaries.
  • Assess compliance with Group standards, HACCP principles, ISO requirements, customer requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions following audits, incidents, or customer findings.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to local QHSSE teams and operational management.
  • Promote the deployment and continuous improvement of Newrest's Food Safety Culture program (I Care by Newrest).

QHSSE Governance & Performance

  • Monitor key QHSSE performance indicators and challenge operational performance where necessary.
  • Support countries and zones in the implementation of Group policies, standards and improvement plans.
  • Participate in the development, review and deployment of Group QHSSE procedures, standards and tools.
  • Contribute to the digitalization of QHSSE processes and reporting systems.

Business & Project Support

  • Support operational teams during tenders, client presentations and implementation of new contracts.
  • Participate in the design and review of QHSSE sections of commercial proposals.
  • Support strategic client relationships regarding quality, food safety and HSE matters.
  • Contribute to Group transformation and improvement projects.

Crisis & Incident Management

Support subsidiaries during major incidents, including:

  • Food safety alerts;
  • Foodborne illness investigations;
  • Product recalls;
  • Serious workplace or operational safety events;
  • Customer escalations and crisis management situations.

Lead or support Root Cause Analysis investigations and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.

Certification & Integrated Management System

  • Support and coordinate Group certification activities.
  • Maintain and strengthen compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001 and other relevant standards.
  • Participate in the evolution and continuous improvement of Newrest's Integrated Management System.
