Role summary:

Eaton’s Electrical Sector is seeking a Country Sales Director France, to lead our French country operations within the South Europe Zone and act as General Manager of the French legal entities.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement short, medium and long term strategic and tactical plans that support the growth plan aligned to EMEA 2030 vision.
  • Develop and implement, as directed and resourced by the group, an effective sales organization and processes (including systems, metrics, recruiting and skill set development).
  • Overall responsibility for the management of CSO France and ensuring operational management of the staff for which they are responsible.
  • Manage sales activities in France in order to achieve agreed budgetary objectives in the segments for which they are responsible.
  • Deliver on France Profit Plan and strategic growth initiatives across segments in the CSO, through direct team and central segment/channel teams.
  • Overall budgetary responsibility for country sales teams.
  • Enhance collaboration within the CSO among channel/segment teams and with divisions, supply chain, services (e.g. through process: SIOP, NPI, Pipeline reviews, SIP elaboration, etc.)
  • Enhance adoption / usage of corporate digital tools: Salesforce, CPQ, self service PowerBI reports.
  • Reinforce the Dare to Lead culture at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop a Continuous Improvement joint roadmap to improve Customer Experience together with centers of excellence (order management, quotation, technical support).
  • Develop and execute plans to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for future business growth, including possible acquisitions, bringing them to the attention of the relevant central team for further consideration and possible next steps.
  • Ensure regular and effective communication with Leadership and EMEA central services, as well as with the divisions (PMCC, LSDPI, ESS).
  • Act as Eaton's designated legal representative for one or more legal entities. Representative of the legal entity to Customers (contracts), Employees (employment contracts, safety and EHS rules, sites, etc.), local works councils and unions (Presidency of the CSE and CSSCT, negotiations and annual consultations, transformations).
  • Maintain a commitment to Eaton processes, the company's values and code of ethics, the implementation of Eaton HSE rules, Inclusion and Diversity initiatives.
  • Ensure the full deployment and application of EBS standards.
  • Ensure teamwork between departments and the absence of silos, a positive local environment and improved employee satisfaction survey results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in relevant commercial or technical discipline, Master's degree preferred.

15+ years of experience in sales, business management, marketing or project management.

Skills:

  • Senior level sales / business leadership from complex B2B environments at a similar scale
  • Proven P&L accountability above €150m
  • Ability to write and implement strategic sales plans and effective sales proposals, with experience across multiple channels and/or segments
  • Experience leading a large team over multiple organisational levels
  • Complete fluency of French & English
  • Good understanding of the electrical industry, preferably including depth in Data Center, IT Channel or C&I Buildings
  • Experience operating at C suite level with customers, partners and institutions, including Presidency of works council and dialogue/negotiation with union representatives
  • Good understanding of operating within legal requirements and in compliance with local rules and regulation
  • Strong leadership skills, presence and resilience are required

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cultures and geographies, including written and oral communication and presentations to clients and management
