Why We Hire

As part of our growing team in France, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and excellence of our Semarchy products and services. This position will play a critical role in testing, automating, and verifying the functionality of Semarchy solutions while maintaining high standards of quality throughout the product development lifecycle.

Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer at Semarchy, you will be in charge of ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge products and services. You will work closely with development, product, and leadership teams to design and implement robust testing frameworks, automate testing processes, and drive the overall quality strategy for our products.

What You Will Do

• Execute and review the test strategies and detailed test plans
• Define the testing scope, objectives, and test environments for new features and releases
• Design and implement scalable and maintainable automated tests, performance tests and load testing
• Ensure end-to-end testing coverage for the entire application, from UI to database, and ensure that features are tested across all environments and devices
• Identify, analyze, document, and track critical bugs and defects
• Work and communicate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to align testing strategies with business needs
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and practices
• Maintain and create clear and concise documentation for all work related to the QA
• Onboard junior QA engineers with sharing knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise

Who You Are and What You'll Bring to the Team

• At least 5 years of experience in QA engineering with a deep understanding of methodologies and best practices of test management
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and performance testing tools
• Strong programming skills for writing and maintaining automated tests, and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Previous experience of working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to share knowledge with other team members
• Problem-solving oriented mindset, ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to work in autonomy

Nice to Have

• Experience in data management, data integration, business intelligence
• Familiarity with cloud environments and SaaS platforms
• Experience with security testing
