Overview of Role :
The IT Contract Leader is generally responsible for the administration of IT Group contracts, ensuring accuracy and up to date terms and references.
You monitor contracts with suppliers and service providers outside the company, within a given scope, in particular by carrying out regular checks and implementing corrective actions or addendums when required
You interact with the internal departments (IT, Procurement, Legal, Tax, etc.) as well as subsidiaries departments in connection with any contract management activities
You are in charge of contractual changes aimed at meeting new requirements or adopting to new changes.
You are responsible for challenging the SoW, proposals, quotes and to ensure that they comply with the state of the art and the terms of the contracts
Responsibilities :
As an IT Contract Leader your responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
Develop standard contracts based on the different types of agreements used by the group
Develop standard RFP, RFQ & RFI documents based on the different types of requirements
Management of contracts, from creation through to their execution and to the eventual termination of the contract. This includes the management of already signed contracts and their declinations in Statements of Works (SoW).
Participation in the development of contractual terms & clauses of the required contract
Performance analysis against the contract terms to maximize operational and financial performance
Identify and mitigate financial and reputational risk through non-compliance with contract terms
Finalizing of new contracts, addendums, etc. by ensuring the participation of the Purchasing and Legal departments.
Oversee the RFP, RFQ & RFI process to:
Ensure that all activities are appropriately executed
Ensure that the appropriate document templates are used
Ensure appropriate legal terms are adopted
Ensure appropriate standard contract is adopted
Ensure that all appropriate legal appendices are included
Production of the monthly contract monitoring report
Production of the scorecard of contracts subject to contractual service level agreements
Dissemination of information on the content of contracts to operational IT departments
Participation in the due diligence activities of project contracts
Preparing and negotiating the terms and conditions of contracts
Ensuring contract compliance with the company’s policies and procedures
Informing internal and external stakeholders of the status of contracts
Investigating and addressing contractual issues and legal disputes
Identify and document the required contract signature process

Required Skills:
Knowledge of contracts and budgetary mechanisms
Knowledge of RFP, RFQ & RFI documentation practices
Knowledge of commercial policies and the SWOTs of partners and service providers on their contractual perimeters
Analytical and synthetic skills
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the shipping and logistics industry
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to work well under pressure
Highly developed attention to detail
Multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to deal effectively with confidential information
French & English proficiency
