We operate close to decision-making, helping align strategy, execution, and commercial priorities over time.Role OverviewOMERIA is seeking a Business Development Associate to support the firm’s commercial development activities. This role is designed for a motivated professional early in their career who wants exposure to high-level strategic environments and international markets.The role combines research, relationship support, and commercial execution. It offers a steep learning curve alongside senior partners and direct visibility into how complex advisory relationships are built and sustained.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution of OMERIA’s business development strategy across priority markets and sectorsConduct market, sector, and client research to identify relevant opportunities and targetsAssist in preparing client materials, proposals, and commercial presentationsSupport relationship management with founders, executives, investors, and partnersTrack opportunities and maintain a structured commercial pipelineMonitor regulatory, market, and competitive developments relevant to OMERIA’s activitiesParticipate in meetings, calls, and eventsProfile & ExperienceUndergraduate or Master’s degree, with 2–5 years of full-time professional experience following graduationPrior experience in private equity, strategy consulting, or advisory roles involving transactions, growth strategy, or investor-facing workAbility to work collaboratively within small, senior teams, and to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organizationProven capacity to own and drive defined workstreams within broader strategic or commercial initiativesComfort operating in ambiguous, evolving, and cross-border environmentsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to structure problems and apply quantitative reasoning where relevantPersonal AttributesCurious about markets, regulation, and how businesses scale internationallyStructured, reliable, and able to manage multiple workstreamsEager to learn from senior practitioners and take on increasing responsibilityProfessional, discreet, and credible in interactions with senior stakeholdersMotivated by long-term skill-building rather than transactional sales targetsWhat We OfferDirect exposure to senior decision-makersA demanding learning environment with close mentorshipInternational scope and cross-sector exposure, working across complex, regulated markets and cross-border situationsAn attractive base salary, aligned with experience and market standardsSignificant performance-based upside, including the opportunity to earn uncapped bonuses on deals originated or materially supportedA role with clear progression and increasing responsibility as the firm grows
