Account Executive – French-Speaking Markets NGS | Genomics | Molecular Diagnostics | B2B Sales Location: Europe (regular travel) Languages: Fluent French & English About the role Our client is an innovative and fast-growing genomics and molecular diagnostics scale-up, headquartered in Switzerland, with a mission to make advanced NGS–based liquid biopsy solutions accessible worldwide. The company operates in an international, high-growth environment, bringing together experts passionate about genomics, data-driven medicine, and innovation. The opportunity The Account Executive will join the client’s expanding European commercial team and take ownership of the French-speaking markets within the EU. This role is ideal for a commercial NGS specialist who enjoys building markets, engaging with scientific stakeholders, and selling complex genomics and sequencing-based solutions. Key responsibilities Develop brand awareness and market presence for NGS-based diagnostic solutions in an emerging genomics marketManage the full B2B sales cycle with clinical, hospital, and research laboratories, including:Scientific and technical product demonstrations focused on NGS workflowsCommercial negotiations and contract managementClosing complex, consultative salesEngage with key stakeholders such as molecular pathologists, geneticists, laboratory directors, and NGS specialistsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with laboratories running or implementing NGS and molecular diagnostics platformsAct as the primary commercial contact for customers across French-speaking European territoriesCollaborate closely with applications, scientific, and marketing teams to support complex NGS sales cyclesContribute to a collaborative, high-performance, and learning-oriented commercial culture What the client offers A key role in shaping and expanding a new NGS and genomics diagnostics marketHigh ownership and autonomy within a scale-up environmentExposure to a market-defining NGS-based liquid biopsy solutionClose collaboration with experienced commercial, scientific, and technical teamsA culture that supports experimentation, learning, and professional growthUncapped commission structureCar allowanceClear career development opportunities as the company scalesStarter kit (MacBook, iPhone, and additional perks)Regular travel to Switzerland and other locations for team meetings and offsites Candidate profile The ideal candidate will have: 3+ years of B2B commercial experience selling NGS, genomics, molecular diagnostics, or sequencing-related solutionsHands-on exposure to Next-Generation Sequencing technologies, workflows, or platforms(e.g. Illumina, Thermo Fisher, Oxford Nanopore, PacBio or equivalent)Experience selling to or working with clinical, hospital, or molecular pathology laboratoriesStrong understanding of NGS-based assays, bioinformatics pipelines, or molecular workflowsFluency in French and EnglishA consultative, scientific sales approach with the ability to engage highly technical stakeholdersA self-starter mindset with a proven track record of closing complex, long sales cyclesStrong discipline in pipeline management and opportunity follow-throughHigh resilience, learning agility, and adaptability in a fast-growing environmentA positive, transparent, and solutions-oriented attitude If you are a commercial NGS specialist looking to work at the intersection of genomics, diagnostics, and innovation, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the future of precision medicine.
