Senior Ship Repair Manager Location: Marseille, FranceLanguage Requirement: Fluent French (essential), English a plusSalary: €60,000–€70,000 gross + overtime + benefitsAbout the RoleRAW Resourcing are working exclusively with a well-established marine company in the South of France to recruit an experienced Senior Ship Repair Manager.This is a senior leadership position responsible for the operational and commercial delivery of multiple vessel projects - overseeing planning, coordination, and execution from start to finish. You’ll ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standard while maintaining strong client relationships and driving continuous improvement within the operation.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate marine repair and maintenance projects from contract award to completion.Supervise technical teams and subcontractors across steel, mechanical, and outfitting works.Manage budgets, schedules, and client communication to ensure quality and profitability.Implement and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and performance.Contribute to strategic and operational decision-making within the company.Requirements5+ years’ experience in ship repair, refit, or marine engineering.Proven track record of managing large-scale vessel projects.Strong technical understanding across hull, piping, machinery, and structural systems.Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.Fluent in French (essential) — English advantageous.Engineering or naval background preferred.What’s on Offer€60,000–€70,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)Overtime and annual performance incentivesLong-term stability with progression opportunitiesWork within one of Southern Europe’s most dynamic maritime environments
