Head of Performance, Planning and Analysis (Paris)

Our client is a leading, international IT services business operating across Europe and North America. Having gained significant PE investment, the business has grown very quickly in recent years and they now want to establish more mature processes and evolve our positioning further for growth. Sustaining such a level of growth over the years requires experience and anticipation to maintain a high quality of delivery and smooth and scalable operations processes. They have been able to organically grow up to now, but are now wishing to accelerate that growth through acquisitions.

Role Overview


The Head of Performance Financial Planning & Analysis will drive strategic insight for the business, supporting the Executive Committee and their teams in executing the strategy with relevant analysis and indicators, and deliver critical financial reports, analyzing performance against goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, with regional C-level, top line and gross margin budgets and reforecasts
  • Understand and monitor revenue and gross margin performance against budgets and reforecasts in relation with regional C- level and their teams, with a specific focus on project reporting, margin and planning
  • Identify and analyse activity drivers / KPIs to allow Senior Leadership to better understand and steer company performance
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on costs
  • Review performance with regional C-level and recommend productivity, cost savings and operations streamlining initiatives
  • Contribute to preparation of ad hoc business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions (e.g. work with Executive Committee to build acquisition finance models)
  • Perform ad hoc analysis: financial, economic, benchmark, competition,


Process Improvement

  • Review existing reporting and FP&A processes and procedures to propose and develop improvements in collaboration with other Finance teams
